Due to continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Radiographer. You will work within the Radiographic Department and gain the knowledge, training, and experience in order to attain Level 2 qualification/certification in film and non-film techniques.
Description / Training programme
- Actively participating in a training programme & apprenticeship
- Have and pass a radiation medical assessment as part of becoming a classified worker
- Obtaining the experience hours required prior to examinations
- To attain a good understanding of Product Technology
- Gain an understanding of the department’s quality system
- Gain an understanding of the department’s functional checks
- Testing of customers’ parts under the guidance of Level 2/3 personnel
- To participate in courses and complete exams at/by an approved training facility
- To gain Level 2 qualification and certification
Key points
- To build a good understanding of the Radiographic method
- To gain the confidence to work individually as well as in a team
Required skills and experience
- No previous experience is required as training is provided
- Must be over 18 years of age
