Experience within this sector would be great however if you can demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach with excellent written and verbal communications skills this could be the role for you. About the role

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the production of monthly applications for payments / valuations
- Compiling material take-offs from plans
- Assisting with compilation of tenders
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly forecasts / cashflows
- Record keeping and documentation associated with sub-contracts
- Assisting in the procurement of sub-contractors, TCI Meetings, minutes, procurement schedules
- Assisting in the management of sub-contractors, record keeping, payment notices, site instructions
- Assisting in record keeping, maintaining contemporary records and updating these on the Project Page
What you'll need
- HNC/HND/Bsc (Hons) (or currently working towards or prepared to)
- Complimentary relevant experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Methodical approach
- Numerate
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate
- Willingness to learn
