We hold over 6,000 SKUs in stock sourced from nearly 200 suppliers, and most sales are via our industry-leading website.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Trainee Product Analyst to help drive the development and management of our product portfolio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting product development, competitor comparisons and product portfolio performance. The Trainee Product Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet customer needs.
Role & Responsibilities
Support Product Management & Purchasing:
- Analyse sales data to evaluate product performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Market research to identify new product opportunities and make recommendations for product enhancements or discontinuations.
- Research of competitor offer, recommendations based on competitor analysis.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback on new and existing products.
- Create reports and presentations about product data findings.
- Product information management - ensure all data is captured on our system.
- Help develop new products, create of product proposals and business cases.
- Quality control - check quality issues and take appropriate action.
- Coordination of product testing and recording results.
Person Specification
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Interest in the technical aspects of how products are manufactured.
- Numerate and analytical, creative problem solver with a methodical approach.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work as part of a team and contribute in meetings.
- Practical and resourceful, willing to learn new skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
