Job Title: Trainee Photographer/Videographer
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Trainee Photographer/Videographer. This role will involve working alongside our experienced photographers and videographers to learn and develop skills in various aspects of photography and videography, including camera operation, lighting, editing, and post-production.
Pay will depend upon experience for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist photographers and videographers during photo and video shoots, including setting up and breaking down equipment, handling props, and adjusting lighting as needed.
- Learn how to operate various types of cameras and lenses, as well as other equipment such as tripods, stabilisers, and lighting rigs.
- Help with photo and video editing tasks, including color correction, retouching, and post-production.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and help develop creative concepts for photo and video projects.
- Attend client meetings and assist with project planning and coordination.
- Keep up-to-date with new techniques, technologies, and equipment in the photography and videography industry.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects) is a plus.
- Must be able to drive to be able to travel to different locations for shoots.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
