Job description
We are looking to add a trainee photographer to our small, but busy, Specialist Dog Photography studio. You must love dogs and ideally have a love of photography and creativity!
The job would involve general studio duties to include assisting in our two photography studios, editing and preparing images, helping with the dogs, ordering products and prints, and general duties within the team, whilst training to be a photographer who will eventually shoot their own shoots at the studio. We are looking for an ambitious individual and fits with our creative quirky and fun style.
We have been established for just over 8 years, and we pride ourselves on providing a fun and caring experience for all of our clients, and hopefully a beautiful portrait to hang on their wall!
The candidate would be enthusiastic, approachable and friendly. Calm and comfortable around all sizes and breeds of dog, and able to adapt to a busy working studio, great with people, and enjoy creating beautiful photographs!
You would be required to work some Saturdays and this is a full time position. We have a separate office on site, and perks include being able to bring your dog to work, free parking on site, and a beautiful location to work in (plus meeting dogs everyday)! You must be able to drive as access to our rural studio by public transport is limited.
