Overview:
As a Trainee Conveyancing Paralegal you will play a vital role within our Recoveries department and support customers who are facing residential repossessions. You will work closely with the team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service and enquiries are dealt with efficiently.

Responsibilities:
What you will be doing as the Trainee Conveyancing Paralegal:
  • Assisting with a caseload of files from initial instruction through to completion of each sale and/or closure of our file, under the supervision of the Team Manager and Paralegals.
  • Undertake certain elements of fee earning work under supervision. In particular:
    • Matter creation on Casenet (our internal case management system);
    • Obtaining and processing Official Copy documents and title deeds;
    • Reviewing property titles with assistance
    • Liaise with other parties and keeping them informed of progress of each sale
    • Issue contracts for sale and supporting documents
    • Help carry out appropriate checks with clients
    • Ensure that all required documents and invoices are received in good time to effect completion.
    • Help effect completion
    • Deal wherever possible with routine enquiries and communications from our client (or their key suppliers)
    • General administrative tasks, such as MI reporting to client

Qualifications:

  • Experience within recoveries / sales of residential preferred but not essential
  • A team player who can collaborate well as part of a team
  • Passionate to deliver excellent customer service
  • Self-motivated with an organised approach to work
