We have 3 trainee positions available:
Fulltime (37.5hrs) - Bristol, with occasional travel to Weston
Part time (34hrs) - Bristol, with occasional travel to Weston
Part time (30hrs) - Weston, with 1 day per week in Bristol
This is the perfect training opportunity for a trainee with creativity and imagination to facilitate a burgeoning outreach operation. Communication skills are vital as you will be delivering group and 1-1 sessions as well as providing detailed and professional evidence searches.
Our new trainee will be funded to undertake a professional librarian qualification. They will work with our team of Knowledge Specialists and be the direct link to providing evidence for our staff and patients. You will be part of an ambitious and professional team, with a focus on continued professional development, and a genuine pride in working towards making UHBW a beacon of outstanding education.

The trainee Outreach Librarian will complete a professional librarian qualification, and develop the skills to provide professional assistance and support to our users. They will take responsibility for specific areas of the service, including standard literature searches, evidence updates, and local information skills training.
