Purpose
To carry out a range of training in NDT inspection techniques on components, pipework, and structural assemblies etc, in order to establish acceptability to specification. To learn and qualify how to carry out the most effective NDT techniques to components requiring inspection. To assist where required in NDT & ANDT activities including site visits to client’s facilities.
Functions
ESSENTIAL
- Ensure work is carried out in an efficient and cost-effective manner to meet planning requirements.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the company’s operating procedures and statuary/client specifications and requirements.
- Participate in company/partnership technical forums to ensure knowledge update of innovative technology.
- NDT assistant as required.
- Perform Equipment and vehicle checks prior to use.
- Ability to work changing shift patterns.
NON-ESSENTIAL
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ensure the work areas are kept clean and maintained.
REQUIRED
