Job description
Trainee Medicines Counter Assistant required to join our dispensary teams working within our branch in Cleevelands Medical centre, Bishops Cleeve.
We are seeking to recruit a new member to join our team in our innovative and award winning family run business, either on a part time or full time basis
Closing Date: 30/04/2023
The position is a permanent vacancy working 3 full days per week, with some Saturdays on a rota basis
What we are looking for:
Providing the highest standard of patient and customer service you will utilise your professional skills to the full.
We require you to:
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a busy environment.
- Assist the pharmacist in providing safe and effective delivery of all pharmaceutical services at branch level
- Maintain and improve peoples health by promoting Healthy Living Pharmacy services
- Assist in ensuring the effective and efficient running of each pharmacy

Assist the pharmacy in engaging with all commissioned services and complying with the quality framework
- Train towards an NPA qualification as an Counter assistant with future opportunities to be an NVQ2 Dispensing assistant
