Trainee Management Accountant - Las Iguanas

Location – Hybrid - must be able to travel into London for key meetings and training.

Job Type – Permanent

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Las Iguanas finance team as a Trainee Management Accountant. If you are driven, keen to gain a good grounding in management accounting before spring boarding further into finance (FP&, financial accounting, commercial finance) then this is the role for you!

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Assistant management account or other analytical experience
  • or a high calibre graduate
  • Medium to advanced excel user.
  • A genuine interest in accounting and finance

It would also be advantageous should you have the following:

  • Experience posting journals and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Experience of analysing and forecasting data
  • Experience of working in a multi-site business
  • Accounting/Finance degree or PQE study (AAT, CIMA or equivalent)

We could also fund Post qualification training (AAT, CIMA)

Responsibilities:

  • Producing timely and accurate management accounts for a designated area of the business, as well as providing other management information to support the business.
  • Posting journals, making assumptions for accurate accruals and analysis of results.
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Reporting and forecasting, supporting the Finance Business Partner
  • Business partnering non-financial stakeholders.
  • Year end and Audit requirements
  • Ad-hoc analysis for various end users.
  • Involvement in year-end processes and external audit.
