Trainee Machine Operator Northampton, England
Job description
Wieland Nemco, a very successful specialist metal service centre in Brackmills Northampton, is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Trainee. The successful candidate will work alongside our skilled operators to learn key aspects of our manufacturing operations in your placement area. Working within an established and successful manufacturing business, you'll play a key role in the production and quality assurance process.
Full training will be given although some experience working machinery would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be multi-trained on various machines, offering job variety.
Hours
0600 to 1430 Monday to Thursday
0600 to 1400 Friday.
But must be flexible when required.
Skills required
- Operating machinery which is integral to the production process
- Ensuring accuracy of work against product specifications
- Conducting quality checks and ensuring any faults are reported appropriately
- General warehouse tasks as and when required to suit demand
- Maintain working area to a high level of housekeeping
- Must be flexible and willing to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00 per year
