Job description
The candidate will work directly with two partners and provide support to other members of the team as and when required. The candidate will assist in the day-to-day administration of the office, including tasks such as: filing, processing incoming and outgoing post, dealing with deliveries and couriers, opening files, diary management, answering phones, billing, greeting customers to the office, managing the waiting area and meeting room, client onboarding and preparing bundles for Court.
The candidate should have a minimum of C / 4 grades at GCSE English and Mathematics. Persons with law degrees or looking to qualify as a solicitor need not apply.
During training the candidate will develop:
- A professional telephone manner.
- Excellent administration/office skills.
- An ability to deal efficiently and sensitively with clients.
- The ability to communicate well in English.
- Good time management skills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Teams, Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent typing skills with some audio typing.
- Confident in photocopying Court bundles, documents, etc.
- Ability to assist in management of our office and firm.
- Being able to work well as part of a team undertaking exciting and important work.
The position will be open to a candidate who wishes to work full-time.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £24,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Legal Secretary: 1 year (preferred)
