About the role:
We are seeking a Trainee Laminator to join our team. Offering an opportunity to learn Glass Reinforced Plastic processes such as wet-lay, resin infusion and vac-bagging core materials. You will be learning the skill of laminating through application of gel, resins, catalyst and mat materials to form glass reinforced products. These products form the structure for the boats, hulls, decks, cabins and small mouldings that we manufacture. Trained by experienced professionals you will also complete GRP repairs. You will be using power tools and woodwork machinery to aid you and learn to understand lay up specifications.
Skills needed to succeed:
- This is a trainee role so no experience is required however a willingness to learn is essential.
- You will be able to work alone as well as part of a team with the flexibility to meet deadlines.
- Have a positive attitude to learning and develop new skills.
- Show good work ethic by taking pride and being punctual.
