We are looking for a committed and energetic professional to join our Kennel team, who is responsible for working with dogs, cats and their owners on a daily basis. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working with animals, excellent communication skills and be capable of consistently meeting company standards. The Kennel Assistant will be responsible for cleaning kennels and assisting kennel staff with daily tasks that include grooming, dog walking, feeding and answering customers inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Clean animal kennels
- Wash and groom animals.
- Answer questions from visitors about animals and staff members.
- Ensure the safety of visitors and animals.
Please note that your standard working week will be based on four working days Mon-Sun from 08:00-18:00. Due to the job character we may not be able to accommodate annual leave requests during the pick season (Half terms and Bank Holidays).
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.18-£10.42 per hour
