Trainee Installation Operative
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Middlesborough
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions are looking to recruit a Trainee Installation Operative to work on our Street Lighting Contracts. The operational base for this role is our Middlesbrough office.
Key Activities:
- To carry out installation of street lighting equipment
- Reinstatement of surfaces
- To accurately complete all associated paperwork and electronic forms
- To ensure company vehicles and plant are maintained in good working order and are clean and tidy
- To ensure that all works are adequately protected and the safety of the workforce, public and vehicles are always maintained
- To adhere fully to Health & Safety responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude.
- Must have a full driving licence
The successful candidate will receive full training via a 24 month Highway Electrical Maintenance and Installation Apprenticeship at Level 2 or 3, depending on previous qualifications, including the following:
- MEWP category 1b
- G39
- First Aid at Work
- NRSWA Unit 1-8
- Operation of Crane
- Manual Handling
- ECS Test
- Plus any other qualifications that may be applicable
We combine classroom learning with regular assessment and practical experience and aim to provide our Trainee with the skills needed for a long and successful career as an Installation Operative.
