Job role: Trainee Inspector (Aerospace Manufacturing)
Salary: £22,000-£25,000 DOE
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Hours: 8:00-16:30 Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:

• Using CMM machinery, you will inspect the quality of components to ensure they are machined to the highest quality possible.
• Complete inspections of sub-assembly, assembly and components to tight tolerances.
• Report results of your inspections to the relevant teams, highlighting any errors in the process where required.
• You will use Leica Optical Scanners and hand held metrology equipment to assist inspection.
• Training is offered on all of the above, including day release external training in the first 12 months of employment.

The Requirements:

• Must be enthusiastic and eager to learn and progress your career within Quality Inspection and/or the Aerospace sector.
• Must have good attention to detail with a problem solving mindset.
• Able to work well with colleagues, as well as other teams within the business.
• Relevant qualification in quality or engineer is advantageous but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
