Deceuninck are a Window Systems Company based in Calne, Wiltshire; we extrude and laminate 6-meter lengths of uPVC profiles for windows and door frames.
We employ approximately 155 employees across two sites in Calne, our main head office and production site and our warehouse site based on the Porte Marsh Industrial Estate.
We are looking for a new colleague to join our HR Team in a position offering development opportunities to progress to Advisory level and provide a robust back up to the HR Manager.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide HR support and guidance to all employees to Senior Management level
- Facilitate and support the recruitment of staff, including job descriptions, job adverts, checking right to work, shortlisting and interviewing.
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up to date and adhered to with clear audit trails
- Maintain all personnel records in accordance with GDPR requirements
- Support Managers with Grievance and Disciplinary processes
- Support the case management of long-term absences, including insurance processes and occupational health requests
- Planning and delivering induction training, system training and organising external training in line with the training plan
- General HR & Office administration support and cover to the HR & Office Administrator, including references, new starter documentation, monthly reporting, travel arrangements and basic IT support.
- Manage small – medium sized projects including employee social events and local implantation of Group HR Projects and objectives
- Supporting the monthly preparation of payroll data
Skills and Experience:
- Ideally CIPD qualified to level 3 or 5, or willingness to undertake these at the Company’s expense
- Proven experience within an HR administration / coordinator role or similar
- You will be keen to develop within the role, learning on the job and working towards an Advisory level position.
- A team player who can proactively work on their own initiative within their level of responsibility.
- Confident, creative and driven to provide excellent service to employees.
- Analytical thinker, ability to work through processes and consider the next step required or potential consequence of steps taken.
Working Hours:
39 Hours per week, worked Monday to Thursday 08.30 – 17.00 and Friday 08.30 – 16.00 with half an hour unpaid lunch break.
