You will be helping the lead installer install fires, fireplaces and stoves in to domestic properties.
This is a great opportunity as after completing on the job training you will be put forward for the HETAS qualification to become a fully qualified engineer. Once a qualified engineer your salary will increase.
Job Role: Trainee Hetas Engineer
Location: Swansea, South Wales and Surrounding Area's
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm + Paid overtime on occasion.
Duties:
- Loading the necessary components on to the van.
- Preparing the site on arrival, assisting the head installer during the installation of log burners. Knocking out fire places, installing hearths and flue systems. Repair work on chimney stacks. Installing flashing kits on slate and tiled roofs.
- Clearing the site and loading the van
- Taking photos of the site before and after the installation
- Unloading the van after the installation
- Ensuring the above are all cared out adhering to health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- General building knowledge and experience is needed, including some slate and tile roof repair working knowledge.
- Must be practical and able to work well with your hands and have attention to detail.
- Must have full UK driving license and own tools.
- Physical fitness and endurance
- Ability to work at height ie ladders, scaffolding, mobile platforms is essential.

Salary: From £11.50 per hour
