Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to train as a general builder. No experience required.
This will be a varied role which will cover a large range of construction, repair and renovation works.
Throughout your training you will be fully supported by the managers and other members of the team. You will have the opportunity to undergo individual and group staff training.
As a trainee you will be:
- Analysing and organising the work schedules alongside the manager.
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite.
- Supporting work processes by preparing, measuring, cutting and loading materials.
- Maintaining work supplies and materials by moving items to site and unloading items.
- Use of various hand, power and machine tools with training as required.
- Updating your knowledge by undergoing different training programmes.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is eager to learn and progress.
- Has a can do attitude.
- Is a team player, but is happy to carry out some works independently.
- Has the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Who take pride in their work.
- Is reliable, punctual and dedicated.
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT
Areas of work are Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford and surrounding areas.
