We have launched our Next Training Academy, allowing us to offer individuals with no previous experience in sofa manufacturing an opportunity to be fully trained as a skilled Upholsterer or Frame assembler and learn a new trade.

Where can Next Furniture Manufacturing take you?

Next is one of the UK’s best known high-street retailers and most established online operations but have you ever wondered who builds our stylish and comfortable sofas?

In 2016 we opened our doors with just one production line and 6 years later we have 200 employees and 14 production lines.

We’re blazing the way for modern British Manufacturing from our home in Armthorpe, Doncaster.

The Next Training Academy start date is 4th September 2023

We understand changing careers can be challenging particularly from a financial point of view, so to support your transition in our industry we pay all our trainees well above the ‘typical trainee pay rate’.

At the end of the programme and once your up and running with us, you will be moved onto our skilled hourly rate (*terms and conditions apply) and the opportunity to maximise your earning potential through our uncapped bonus scheme. We will also reward you with an attractive retention bonus at the end of 12 months employment.

Who are we looking for?

Dedicated, passionate individuals who want to learn, enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have a can-do attitude. Having a prior knowledge of operating tools, using your hands or considering yourself a bit of a DIY expert would be desirable.

Own transport is preferred due to the location of our furniture manufacturing site.

You will also receive monthly pay, free car parking, subsidised canteen, 25% staff discount, Uniform, Perks at Work and many more benefits!

What are you waiting for? Apply today and change the future of your career.
