As Trainee Flight Operations Engineer, you will join us in a development role, bringing excellent technical knowledge from your studies at university (typically). You will bring good technical knowledge and support the Flight Operations Engineering team whilst gaining experience and knowledge in a unique and specialist field.
Day to day
You will support the Flight Operations Engineering & Efficiency department in a range of activities.
As part of a team covering a range of functions, the Trainee Flight Operations Engineer (TFOE) will initially specialise in one of departmental functions depending on experience, aptitude, and the needs of the team.
These functions will typically be split into technical operational support, aircraft performance engineering, weight and balance engineering and fuel efficiency.
It is anticipated the TFOE will progress to the role of Flight Operations Engineer, subject to satisfactory performance over an approximate 18-24 month development period.
About you
Are you an aircraft engineering graduate with a breadth of knowledge and a desire to work on a some of the most modern and efficient aircraft in the industry? - Likely to be University educated unless the candidate can demonstrate equivalent competence by education plus industry experience
- Experience working with aircraft in a technical capacity would be beneficial
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office applications
- Proven Analytical abilities would be beneficial but not essential
- Ability to handle a multitude of work requests and projects at any one time and prioritise accordingly
- Ability to engage and work with other teams and stakeholders
