We're looking to recruit a trainee Finance Assistant for our Cegedim finance team based in Leyland. The role will cover sales invoicing, credit control, sales support and general finance admin work.
The position will be hybrid working, although we are open to a flexible working pattern. We are looking for a person who is self-motivated and is able to work well under pressure. Personal qualities are the most important as we are a small but growing subsidiary of the larger Cegedim group, where there is a close working relationship with a small number of colleagues.
The position involves:
- Sales invoicing – raising invoices from CRM data
- Credit control – chasing customers for late payments and dealing with any issues raised in the process
- Sales support – ensuring that information in accounting and CRM records is accurate
- Finance admin support – assisting finance administrator on general finance duties.
- Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
- Great customer skills and previous customer service experience
- Customer focussed
- Works well within a team
- Previous experience in an accounts environment, associated with sales and credit control is desirable, but not essential.
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Integrity
- A good communicator and problem solver with a logical approach
