We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Engineer to join the team on a 10-week Summer Placement in Bangor, North Wales.

Role Responsibility
As a Summer Placement Trainee Engineer, you will be part of a team delivering a project either on site or during the design stage. You will take a significant role in managing aspects of the work including safety, quality, time and cost. You will acquire technical, leadership and project management skills and experience.
On a day to day basis, the successful Trainee Engineer's duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
Reviewing drawings and planning the work
Communicating the plans
Overseeing work progress on site or through design
Setting out
Quality inspections
Measurement and progress recording
Innovating and proposing alternative solutions
Budgets
Valuations
Supplier Liaison
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally, we would like to hear from candidates who are studying or plan to study an Engineering degree accredited by one of the major engineering institutions, with the intention to become a Chartered Engineer.
If you have a desire to bring together a range of insights and disciplines to solve challenging infrastructure problems and have a willingness to earn whilst gaining valuable work experience in relevant sectors, then we would like to hear from you.
