About Johnson Controls:
Through out the year Johnson Controls are always on the lookout for Trainee Engineers across various business units, including Land-based Security, Fire Suppression and Detection, HVAC, and BMS. With opportunities nationwide, our roles are typically based in major hubs like Glasgow, Gateshead, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Leicester, Cambridge, Sunbury, London, Basildon, and Waterlooville.
What You'll Do:
As a specialised force in our industry, we'll provide you with comprehensive training in servicing, testing, installing, and repairing within one of our dedicated business units. You'll undergo hands-on training combined with a structured program. Upon completion, you'll transition into a permanent engineering role with us, where you'll continue honing your skills and advancing your career.
How You'll Do It:
Install, service, and maintain building solution systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Thoroughly document any alterations, deficiencies, or deviations in both new and existing systems.
Accurately complete internal Engineers work reports, along with all relevant test and completion certification and documentation as needed.
Uphold the company's image in all interactions.
Exhibit adaptability and proficiency in diverse work environments, from client premises to construction sites. Maintain a keen focus on risk mitigation, adherence to company and site policies, ensuring a clean and safe workspace, and maintaining an impeccable Health and Safety record.
Deliver exceptional Customer Service to meet the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders, while fostering effective relationships with colleagues, system users, and Building Owners/Occupiers.
What We Seek in Our Trainee Engineering Programmes:
Full UK Drivers License
Right to work in the UK
Passion for engineering
Eagerness to learn
Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces, and able to carry tools and equipment
Willingness to participate in block training weeks (accommodation and meal allowance provided)
Exemplary punctuality and timekeeping
Self-motivation and drive
