AVVIQ Consulting is a new and thriving business in the field of Fire Engineering and Consultancy. We work for a full range of clients in the Petro-Chemical, Industrial, Commercial and Residential fields. Through our overwhelming successes, we are looking for a Trainee Fire Protection Engineer to enhance our team and start a rewarding career.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing concept and detail engineering drawings for active fire suppression systems. You will draw new designs and update current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meet all necessary standards and requirements.
We are keen to bring new talent to our team, where you will receive full on site training by experienced and expert senior consultants, with an opportunity to visit sites. We undertake monthly CPD training which you will also embark on. The company supports and encourages further education and professional registrations.
Responsibilities
- Draw, update, and maintain designs
- Manage multiple projects at the same time
- Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer's requirements
- Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
Requirements
- A Level minimum education
- CAD experience desirable
- Excellent time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Previous use of Microsoft Applications
