We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Duty Manager to join our team at Thermae Bath Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us where we offer a genuinely unique experience in the UK for residents and visitors to Bath who can bathe in Britain’s only natural thermal water Spa.
All in a day’s work
This a Training and development role you will learn aspect of the operation and day to day running of the business, You will be required to learn the functions and processes of all teams, by working alongside them.
Once trained and fully competent you will take your place as a Duty Manager to leads the shift ensuring that HS legislation and pool safety checks are undertaken and that guest are provided with direction and information regarding property amenities. Liaise between departments to meet guest needs and resolve any queries and complaints. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
This is a critical role for the Thermae Bath Spa where you will manage the smooth running of the operation during opening hours to ensure all our guests have a unique and enjoyable experience with us by anticipating their needs and responding accordingly.
The Duty Manager oversees the daily management of the reception area including cashing up and liaises to ensure that all areas within the Spa are optimally staffed; reporting issues to the relevant manager and following up as required, producing daily reports for the senior management team.
The ideal person
Would suit a person from a high volume leisure or tourist role.
The successful applicant will have confident communication skills, be friendly, organised, efficient and well presented with a positive “can do” attitude.
