About the Role
Location: Mitcham
- Hours are : 04:00 – 14:00 Monday – Friday and every other Saturday
- 45 Hours per week plus overtime as required
- Full Time - Permanent
- Salary £27,535.76, and increasing to £33,228.00, when passing their test and becoming a full HGV driver.
- Full PPE Provided
- Full Training Given
- Working 4 out of the 8 bank Holidays a year with Double pay and a day in lieu
What will I be doing?
- The role will involve the loading of vehicles collecting municipal recycling and waste from households, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with health and safety rules and contractual requirements at all times.
- Once fully trained as a LGV Driver you will be driving our Trucks and being part a team in our organisation.
What are the requirements?
- You must be able to demonstrate reliability, good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team
- Excellent at delivering a high level of customer service.
- Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working with waste vehicles is desirable but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
- You must hold a current driving licence, and have been driving for 12 months.
