Trainee Dispenser/Customer Service Advisor

We offer a dynamic working environment with rewarding opportunities. As a starting point we will enrol you on a NVQ Level 2 dispensing assistant course to develop your skills in a pharmacy environment. You will be provided with a designated tutor who will support you through the course.
As a customer service advisor, playing a pivotal role within the team, you will be responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing communication from internal and external customers by phone, fax or email. You will answer queries and ensure they are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner. Accuracy in this role is crucial, so you will have great attention to detail throughout all the processes.
Your Experience:
Retail or call centre background is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Computer literate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a target driven environment.
Minimum A to C GCSE in Maths and English.
Customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
Your Responsibilities:
To follow relevant SOPs and Company policy and procedure to always ensure patient safety.
Answering calls from patients, taking their orders, providing quotations and general information as well as resolving any queries they have.
Processing prescription orders using the computer system.
The assembly of prescribed items (including the generation of labels).
Ordering, receiving and storing pharmaceutical stock.
Providing a high level of customer service to all patients through all the channels of communication.
To work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure the efficient and safe running of the dispensary.
Working towards delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
Packing stock ready for delivery.
