A leading technology provider is looking for a trainee dev-ops engineer to join their team. You don’t need any specific experience here but you do need to demonstrate brilliance in some way. This could be by way of your own pet development project or obsession with Linux technologies. You will be learning enterprise architecture, AWS, and how to engineer tech in a start-up (Build fast and break things mode).

This will be a minimum wage starting salary but will be a rocket ship to a career in enterprise technology:
The following skills are a must:
- You will likely be working from home so you will have to be a self-starter and obsessive with tech. You be working from home a lot (so if you can’t keep your hands off your PlayStation need not apply).
- You have to be able to read online guides, watch learning YouTube videos, write scripts/code (or learn to code) and generally be obsessive about technology. Working with AWS can be hard but rewarding.
- We can train you to be professional but you need to be comfortable getting stuck in and helping an already busy team so you will need to think on your feet.
- Know how to use google and YouTube like a pro to teach yourself tech (although you will be well supported little will be spoon-fed so you need to be an obsessive learner).
The following skills are desirable but not essential:
- Educated to degree level (Ideally computer science) from university (but not essential if you can prove brilliance in some way, shape, or form).
- Know how to write code or scripts or are willing to learn, you kind of know if you like writing code or not (Don’t apply if it’s not your thing).
- Know your away round Linux / Container technology, not essential but its this kind of skill that works in these types of roles.

- Hate Windows (we love windows) but usually people that hate Windows are usually a good fit here (if you have an Android phone is usually a good sign also)
- Follow tech people and forums online, love the Start-Up universe, and have aspirations one day of building your own technology.

Salary: £18,992.58-£21,801.29 per year
