We are looking for people that are starting their career and want to develop a new set of hands-on skills, build a career path, and join a growing company. We will provide full training to develop the skills and knowledge you need as a Composite Technician; we want you to bring the enthusiasm and attitude to succeed. Final roles are available across all Production teams from Kit Cutting, Laminating and Clave through to CNC, Paint, Trim and Inspection.
Starting Salary and responsibility will be offered according to experience and qualifications with opportunities to increase salary with experience.
Key responsibilities:
Carrying out all duties required in the manufacture of composite tools, parts and assemblies to a high specification using advanced composite materials. This includes:
- Interpretation of customer drawings
- Laminating carbon or glass fibre components
- Pattern sealing and preparation for moulding
- Mould tool manufacture and preparation for production
- Tool maintenance
- Working with honeycomb and foam cores
- Vacuum bagging techniques
- Close tolerance trimming
- Fitting and bonding
- Surface finishing

Experience:
- Materials or Engineering knowledge desirable but not essential
- Previous practical skills would be advantageous but not a necessity as full training will be given (including but not limited to laminating, carpentry, machining, metalwork, painting and decorating, electrical assembly, mechanics to model making)
- The ability to understand technical drawings would be advantageous but not a necessity as full training will be given

You will be offered a full-time contract which comes with a competitive salary. The role is 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime. Various shifts are available, shifts are 8 hour per day, Monday to Friday.
