Job description
To deal with the legal expenses insurance claims in an effective and efficient manner with the support of other members of the team, Team Managers, Claims Managers and Chief Legal Officer. Claims include but are not limited to personal injury, both motor and non-motor, criminal prosecution, clinical negligence, identity theft, landlord and tenant disputes, employment, contract, property and commercial disputes.
Working Pattern
Our standard full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Upon completion of satisfactory training, Arc may offer the opportunity for agile working up to 50% of the time at home if your circumstances allow.
Office work will be carried out in our Cardiff City Centre office.

Essential Job Functions
The role includes the following key job functions:
Reviewing and handling legal expenses claims establishing whether these can be accepted or declined under the terms of the applicable policy- Reviewing responses from solicitors and negotiating terms of instruction as well as agreeing appointment of solicitors
- Handing customer inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner
- Receiving and making outbound telephone calls to customers, insurers and solicitors
- Ensuring that all correspondence (written or verbal) are polite, professional, clear and accurate
- Handle all claims and communications within our service level agreements.
- Manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, exciting, ever evolving environment.
Qualifications, Experience and Competence
We are looking for applicants with a polite, professional and can-do attitude who are passionate about working in an innovative, forward thinking, positive environment and strive for the delivery of excellence on a consistent basis.
Strong spelling, grammar and communication skills are important for this role therefore a minimum of 5 GCSE English Grade 4 to 9 (A to C) or equivalent including Maths and English will be required.
Knowledge of Legal Expenses/Insurance is a bonus, but not required as full training will be given.
