Role: Trainee Children’s Care Worker

Salary: Up to £22,300.00 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire

About the Home

Southview is a beautiful 6 Bed Residential Home, surrounded by scenic countryside. We have a family environment and are looking for Children’s Care Workers to join our small team.

This home is based in Stamford and is within commuting distance from Peterborough, Grantham and Melton Mowbray.

The Role

As a Children’s Care Worker within our residential home at Southview, you will work directly with vulnerable children with Autism and additional needs to provide them with the care, support and opportunities they need to be happy, healthy and to make their way in the world. You will chaperone the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips to the zoo, complete relevant paperwork, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administer medication.

  • Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care, by working towards a funded qualification L3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)
  • A full UK Driving Licence
