Job description
An exciting opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a progressive accountancy firm based in Birmingham city centre.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
Managing a portfolio of clients- Developing a team
- Reviewing and preparation of client bookkeeping, VAT returns and payroll
- Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation of management accounts
- Filing of statutory accounts with Companies House and HMRC
- Supporting with client onboarding
- Supporting the partners and directors
Entry requirements
Excellent communication and numerical skills are vital. The individual will have great attention to detail, be able to work well individually as well as within a team, and have a pro-active approach to work.
