Truck Scheduling / Driver control / Tank Allocating & Selection. To manage the fleet of contract and Third-party resources. Managing supply for customer that operates a 24/7 site. Location Based at Stokesley but with regular visits to on Site Logistics in
Birmingham. All roles associated with Truck operation & contract requirements. Driver Control / Equipment and servicing report/requirements. On site requirements in Birmingham including Tank samples & Admin.
Key Activity 1 – Quality, Safety, Security, Health & Environment approx - Continuous
Responsible for one’s own, co-worker’s and stakeholder’s health, safety and quality. Continuous
Key Activity 2 – Administration approx. 40% time
Truck and Tank Planning within BTL own system with order and equipment status management and updates:
Job Updates (ETA ’s / completion etc.)
Order Planning in Full / Receipt & Completion
Updating all weighs and Activity lines.
Tank Available management. GPS/CLNAD/REPAI/GPS Liaison with M&R department. Cleaning date/load management.
Documentation Issuing & Management on site.
Equipment on site management Hoses/Fittings and Driver couplings
Bottle Samples and Clean cert on site management in Birmingham
BTT Driver Truck logs and approvals
UK Extra Cost reporting with Commercial Team
Key Activity 3 – Planning approx. 35%
time
Truck and Tank Plans daily operations.
Loading/Delivery of onsite & UK orders
Tank Stock in correct location.
Timed requirements and rotation of Loading Bays (Independent knowledge of BAY requirements & Timings)
7 Day a week operation. Load bays required to be Full for Weekend and Deliveries planned with Weekend Drivers. Completed Friday but weekend updating will be required.
Must liaise with BTT over vehicle/Chassis servicing & Equipment.-
Key Activity 4 – Communication approx. 20%
time
Liaise closely and positively with the Customer / Commercial Team regarding
customer requirements, changes, challenges, and delays.
Responsibility of Driver management and communication.
Forward planning & Advance notification to issues arising.-
Key Activity 5 – Personal Development approx. 5% time
Front line Logistics and onsite logistics & challenges
Dedicated transport contract and Customer management handling
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge E/D* (Essential/Desired)
- Competent in the use of I.T. system, outlook, excel etc. E
- Good geographical knowledge D
Experience
- Previous roles in transport planning, cost management or within logistics industry E

Salary is based on knowledge and experience.

Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
