Oxfordshire County Council is investing in the Network Management function of the County Council which includes NETWORK COORDINATION, CIVIL ENFORCEMENT, TRAFFIC SIGNALS, TRAFFIC CONTROL and TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS and we have career opportunities available.
This is an exciting time to join Oxfordshire‘s Network Management service - with the council progressing Lane Rental, being one of the first authorities to have moving traffic offence powers, and embracing active travel and the new road user hierarchy, there is lots of opportunity to be part of shaping a modern and progressive service supported by passionate and enthusiastic councillors making a positive impact on residents and users of Oxfordshire’s network.

We have career opportunities for those with experience in the design, operation and maintenance of traffic signals as well as those seeking a career change, specialism or have an interest in traffic signals.
We have a well-established Team that manages the existing asset and supports, designs, and approves new signals on the network, but we need more people to support growth in the County.
We need:
Traffic Signal Engineers and potential Engineers

Is this you?
If you have 5 years or more experience in the management/design or operation of traffic signals, our Senior roles would be ideal for you.
If you have some experience or an interest in signals, are looking for a career change or career specialism, we would like to hear from you as our Officer posts are designed to offer a first step in a specialist role. Full training provided!
