Lochwynd Limited are currently looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our team operating out of our Glasgow Depot.

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and removal of temporary traffic management on urban roads. As an experienced Traffic Management Operative, you will be required to ensure the smooth and efficient deployment of traffic management to achieve maximum production in a working day, whilst maintaining a high Health and Safety standard. This role requires flexibility due to the nature of the business. You must be able to work both days and nights, including some weekends as required. You must have a can do and responsible attitude to work.

All works to be carried out in accordance with Lochwynd Limited policies and procedures.

You will carry out works under the direction of the Operations / Contracts Manager.

The role of the traffic management operative will be to:

  • Review site pack and drawings.
  • Load vehicle prior to works.
  • Deploy, maintain and remove all methods of traffic management including Give and take - Stop/Go boards - Portable traffic signals (2 way & Multi Phase) - Road closures and diversions - Lane closures.
  • Daily maintenance of traffic management.
  • Survey future works

Candidates should possess some of the key skills below and have previous experience working within the traffic management industry:

  • NRSWA Ticket.
  • Sector 12D traffic management qualification (M1, M2, M3 & M5 desired). - Required
  • Experienced traffic management operative.
  • Ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
  • Emergency First Aid at Work.
  • Full UK driving licence.
