Job Opportunity: Dog Groomer and Pet Shop Receptionist

Role: Dog Groomer Receptionist

Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and providing outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments with efficiency and friendliness.
- Greeting and welcoming clients and their pets, making them feel comfortable and attended to.
- Handling payment transactions accurately and securely, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintaining an organized, tidy and clean reception area, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere for our valued clients.
- Demonstrating knowledge of dog breeds and services offered at our salon, providing appropriate guidance and advice to customers.
- Addressing and resolving customer complaints and feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilizing excellent selling skills to promote additional services, products, and memberships, maximizing customer engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably within the pet industry.
- Passion for dogs and willingness to learn about different breeds, grooming techniques, and pet care products.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to handle customer complaints and find effective solutions.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify upselling opportunities and meet sales targets.
- Ability to work well in a team, collaborating with groomers, store staff, and management to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings as needed.
