Job description
Based in Lichfield, Wade Construction are looking to recruit a professional all rounder multi skilled tradesman, with good knowledge and experience in the construction repairs sector. We are looking for highly skilled, customer focused operatives who will be involved in carrying out Void Work, Repair Work & Maintenance in properties.
Experience in housing maintenance/repair would be desirable.
The successful candidate will be a talented multi-skilled tradesperson and must have excellent communication skills, outstanding customer service, a right first time approach and an in-depth working knowledge of a variety of housing repair works.
Must be willing to travel within West Midlands area.

Job Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience in residential property maintenance.
- Good understanding at Multi-Trader level of: carpentry, high quality plastering and patching, dry lining, tiling, basic plumbing, window unit replacement, mastic works, painting and decorating, bathroom sanitary replacement, kitchen installation and repairs (including work surfaces) and mould removal, cleaning, etc.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength
- High ethical standards, willingness to learn and innovate, and exhibit mature judgement
- Proven track record of producing high quality work with highest level of customer satisfaction
- You must be an experienced multi-trader (Ideally hold NVQ in relevant field)
Role and responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance to both unoccupied and occupied properties using all multi-trade skills
- Compile and keep records
- To achieve and demonstrate a high level of customer satisfaction
- To comply with our Health and Safety Procedures and legislation
- Ensuring a right first time approach
- High focus on a clean working environment and the protection of customer property at all times
