We are looking for a Trade Reporting Business Analyst to:
- support operational controls to ensure we comply with certain important trading venue rules linked to UK and Swiss financial regulations
- ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with documented procedures
- supervise tasks performed in a remote location and provide guidance when required
- communicate effectively between multiple trading venues and the business
- pro-actively work with Risk, Compliance, and the business when queries are received which may present risk of sanctions being imposed on UBS
- be the escalation point and conduit to the business for controls with a higher risk profile
- investigate issues in detail to ensure you understand the causes and can explain them to others
- partner with other groups to document issues and agree the content of communications with regulators or trading venues which may be necessary in response to issues
- partner with IT to identify improvements we need to make to our technology solutions
Your team
You’ll be in our London based Regulatory Reporting Operations team within the Integrated Middle Office and will oversee functions performed by colleagues in India. We are governed by our Front Office Regulatory Oversight team.
Your expertise
- at least 3 years experience in operational business analysis or operational control management, ideally in an Investment Bank
- a good understanding of equity derivatives, FX, rates and credit products
- experience of regulatory trade reporting required under MIFID II and Finfrag
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- able to work independently or collaboratively and take ownership of complex investigations
- strong awareness of regulatory risk
- able to recognize when and how to escalate issues
