We strive to make every tour an unforgettable experience. Our team of skilled professionals bring years of experience in the travel and tourism industry to ensure smooth and successful tours. Our staff are friendly and welcoming, with a wealth of knowledge to share with our customers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing individual to join our team as a Tour Guide!

This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about exploring and learning more about the world around them. No experience is needed as we will provide extensive training for the successful candidate to ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed.

Our Tour Guide role involves leading and educating groups of people on tours of local attractions and points of interest. You will be responsible for providing interesting and engaging narration along the way. You will also need to be able to answer questions and queries from visitors, as well as ensure the safety of all participants.

Skills and competency requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for all things historical.
  • Knowleadgable and passionate about Edinburgh
  • Be outgoing, friendly, helpful, and patient
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be reliable and responsible.
  • Fluency in any other language an advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar role advantegeous

Language requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Italian advantegeous

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver information to an audience in an engaging way.
  • Lead groups on walking tours of Edinburgh's most iconic locations.
  • Provide visitors with interesting and accurate historical information about the city.
  • Being able to adapt to meet the interests and needs of the visitors.
  • Be flexible; be able to handle last minute changes and deal with difficult situations.
  • Respond to questions and queries from visitors.
  • Ensure tour group is kept on schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

Salary: £150.00 per day
