Toolmaker – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading Injection Moulding manufacturer based in Corby, who are looking for a Toolmaker to join their growing team. The successful Toolmaker will have experience of Injection Moulding, Toolmaking, and toolroom machinery.
Salary: Circa £35,000

Responsibilities:
- Repairing, modifying and maintaining all existing production tooling
- Service a range of mould Tooling
- Operating all toolroom plant and machinery safely
- Provide continuous improvement
- Log any completed tool maintenance and repair work
- Use of Toolroom database
- Ensure correct marking and labelling of tools
- Rectify problems quickly and effectively
- Quality checking
About You:
- Have plastic injection mould tool experience in a similar role.
- Relevant tooling qualifications (Apprenticeship, HNC etc)
- Industry experience within plastics/injection moulding is essential.
- CNC, CAD/CAM experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with hot runner systems/valve gates and manifolds would be advantageous.
