TMR Operator/General Farm Worker Glastonbury, England
Job description
We are looking for an experienced TMR Operator/General farm worker to work as part of our dairy team in a large dairy farming and dairy processing business near Glastonbury.
The business: We milk 1000 cows, 3 x day on a 60-point rotary. The herd are housed on sand bedded cubicles and fed with partial TMR and automated parlour feeding.
The Role: You will be responsible for TMR feeding and all associated tasks on a relief basis. This includes covering every other weekend as standard.
There is an opportunity to take on additional general farm work on weekdays dependant on individual availability and skill level.
The Person: Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a high level of competence through the delivery of consistent results.
Candidates must hold a valid Driving licence and telehandler certificate.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Pay: From £11.00 per hour
