Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Buckie Locality of Health & Social Care Moray to join our expanding new team of Health Care Support Workers who work alongside our existing multi-disciplinary team in the provision of basic nursing care and intensive home support under the guidance of qualified staff.
The successful candidates will be required to work closely with other team members under the direction of the Team Lead/Managers and District Nurses. They will also be required to use their discretion and initiative to manage their workload on a daily basis, taking into account any day-to-day issues arising from direct patient/client contact.
The candidates should ideally have a Level 3 SVQ or equivalent and have previous experience in a hospital/community setting. They should also have an awareness of the needs of the elderly and have experience in caring for older people, together with the ability to provide End-of-Life care to those at home. This post is over 7-days per week on a rota basis. A full driving licence is essential.
The candidate will need to be flexible in working across Moray when required.
