Job description
Pathel UK, now part of Hydroscand, are a leading UK manufacturer of Stainless Steel Corrugated Hose and Braid, Hose assemblies.
We are currently looking for an experienced Tig Welder to join our team at Pathel UK Ltd in Chorley, Lancashire.
We require a TIG welder to predominantly weld thin austenitic stainless steel.
You will be required to produce fillet and butt welds in thicknesses and combinations of materials between 0.2mm to 3mm.
Weld qualifications to ISO 9606 will need to be acquired in time.
Requirements
- Good practical and technical skills
- An understanding of engineering drawings and principles would be an advantage
- Work to customer and internal specifications

It would be helpful if the candidate has examples of current, or even lapsed Welder Qualification Records, WQR’s that will give indication of experience.
A weld test would be incorporated into the interview process.
Experience:
- TIG Welding: 2 years (preferred)
- Metallic Hose production (preferred)
