To work as part of the sheet metal components production team working in a controlled welding environment
with various Aerospace alloys such as Titanium.

Provide excellent quality products and superior service to your stakeholders.
To produce ‘right first time' pass rates with high integrity welds on various aerospace alloys including Titanium.
To develop a common culture of quality basics throughout the welding area and ensure that observation of
quality is consistent throughout every level of welding operations.
Ensure that new employees are trained to the required standard and where required be an ongoing mentor for
welding techniques and quality.
Ensure compliance with all procedures/processes, documented instructions to meet customer and audit needs.
Suggested Measures Internal/external audit including PRI audit activity.
Willingness to cooperate and develop Aircelle Burnley welding facility with best approach to assist right first
time yield pass rates, enhance product quality to satisfy product design, customer needs and process
developments.

Ability and willingness to implement LEAN activity & LEAN improvements focused on welding and the setup of

Job requirements

5-years' experience with manual TIG/GTAW welding in an aerospace environment and have successful
welder qualifications or a demonstration of previous. Essential
Experience with manual TIG/GTAW process for Titanium alloys & Nickel alloys Preferable
Excellent concentration and appreciation for welding thin gauge Titanium and its alloys. Essential
Ability to interpret master layouts and engineering drawings. Essential
Ability to rigorously follow qualified welding procedures. Essential
Welding inspection experience.
Appreciation for causes of defective welds and levels of NDT/NDE. Desirable
Grade C GCSE in Maths, English and science Desirable
Apprentice trained Preferable Desirable
