East Midlands Special Operations Unit are hiring for a Tier 1 Fingerprint Identification Officer within the Regional Fingerprint Bureau Unit. The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for the service delivery of an extensive range of specialist technical and administrative functions.
The Tier 1 Fingerprint Identification Officer role provides non reporting support to the Regional Fingerprint Bureau maintaining the operational and technical efficiency and effectiveness of all identification services with the opportunity to progress to expert status (this will be dependent upon requisite standards being met).
Providing specialist advice and knowledge to ensure the region maximises its service provision around the Regional Fingerprint Bureau providing an excellent standard of service delivery.
Scene of Crime attendance as and when required, liaising with Tier 3 Fingerprint Identification Officers and Central Services Managers to establish and carry out an effective fingerprint examination and recovery.
For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
