About us:
Alternative Airlines is a fast growing Online Travel Agent, and our ongoing mission is to empower anyone in the world to book a flight easily, and every booking and every customer counts to us!
We have grown our ticketing team from 1 person in 2019 to 11 in 2023, and the team is still growing to ensure that we offer the very best service to our customers. So our next step is to increase our opening hours to be open 24/7.
We are currently open from 0900 - 2100, and these positions are to allow us to open from 2100 through to 0900 to offer immediate issuance of customer airline tickets.
What is required from the ticketing executive?
- Working across different systems to issue tickets on numerous airlines
- Following internal processes to confirm bookings
- Question and provide solutions to ticketing issues
- Processing refunds, cancellations and reissues
- Dealing with airline queues
- Follow internal processes on preventing fraudulent bookings
- Opportunity to work alongside our development team to simplify ticketing processes
- Support the customer service team with ticketing issues.
Required Skills:
- Previous experience working in a ticketing team
- Amadeus GDS is essential
- Be able to multitask at a fast pace whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Highly organised, proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
