Ticket Office Assistant Norwich, England
Job description
We're looking for a confident, enthusiastic individual to join our ticket office team. This role is a visitor facing role, so confidence in speaking to people is a must. You will need to be able to discuss the venue they are visiting, what facilities are on site, any potential path closures. This role will have large volumes of people in the ticket office at once with both online bookings and on the door purchases so the ability to stay calm is required.
Our ticket office doubles up as a gift shop so you will also be selling gifts and groceries from the same area.
You will also be joining visitors to our annual memberships.
This role is varied and multi-faceted and you would have the chance to work in the tearoom outside of the set ticket office days, if you wanted to.
Starting salary is in line with standard minimum wage and is reviewed regularly.
The ability to drive is essential unless you live withing walking distance.
This role will be a minimum of 10 hours per week across 2 days. There are other departments where shifts may be available to increase the hours, eg. In the tearoom, Our snack shack in the garden, kitchen or for events
