Job Description You may not know us, but our reputation is growing. We’re one of Europe’s largest credit management companies and we believe that becoming debt free should be simple and affordable for everyone. Every year, we help thousands of people take control of their debts and we understand that every person’s situation is different. We buy debts from lots of different companies in all kinds of sectors. Our mission is to help customers on the path to becoming debt free; with a real focus on helping our customers pay off their debts in practical and affordable ways. We do this honestly, ethically and by treating our customers with dignity and respect. So that’s us, now let’s talk about your role: You’ll lead a small team of technical specialists to develop and run a continual program for the organisation of vulnerability assessment and environmental testing to assess the organisations capability to defend, respond and (theoretically) recover from attacks. Unlike red and blue teams, which each take on specific roles offensive and defensive security testing, this will combine elements of both teams, helping to obtain a complete offensive and defensive security perspective. This role will define, document, and execute tests and assess the results and finalised reports. Whilst maintaining oversight of changing vulnerability landscape of the organisation and not adversely affecting production operations. The role will help to build a best-in-class vulnerability assessment and threat management capability to proactively protect the Lowell Group´s staff, buildings, systems, devices and appliances across all regions. What we need from you? You’ll bring a successful track record of setting up and leading a best in class Red Team function for complex, high demanding environments in the private or public sector. Strong experience in a technical threat /vulnerability security leadership position. Solid experience of penetration testing management and coordination experience. Ability to understand the business context and technology to manage uncertainty and apply appropriate solutions in response to differential risks and needs. Proficient leadership skills to develop and lead a high performing team of experts. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively across a wide range of stakeholders. Excellent technical understanding of IT and Information Security solutions, processes and systems. Deep technical expertise in the area of cyber-attack and defence technology. Offensive Security Certifications (OSCP, OSEP, OSCE, OSWE, others) Experience working in a technical security position, penetration testing, information security hardening technologies and techniques, cyber attack simulation programs or similar background. How we say thank you? An exciting career is much more than just a salary. We also understand that everyone, regardless of culture, gender identity, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, or disability status, can contribute to our goal to make credit work better for all. Our strength is in our people. So, at Lowell we have a range of benefits that include: A discretionary annual bonus for a job well done. 28 days holiday with an option to purchase 5 more. Plus bank holidays on top. Life assurance, Private Medical Assurance & Group income protection. 3% flexible benefits; pick additional benefits or take as cash each month. A fantastic culture with more little perks along the way including flexible working, family leave and recognition awards. Wellbeing support, including THRIVE sessions, trained support officers, and regular webinars and classes geared towards mindfulness. Our UK office is in Leeds but, we work flexibly.
