AFC Modelling (AFCM) United Kingdom (UK) are responsible for developing and optimising methods and models to monitor clients’ transactional behaviour that aligns with the Bank’s risk appetite.
You will be accountable for supporting model implementation and the completion of Model Governance and documentation.

Your key responsibilities
- Liaise with MoRM, fully understanding and clearly articulating requirements for documentation to meet the required MoRM standards
- Work with Threat Analytics Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify, elicit and document business requirements, complete model documentation and adhere to governance requirements
- Collaborate with AFCM Internal Model Review team to ensure all requirements and standards are met before submitting to MoRM, showing ability to amend and adapt to meet granular and complex requirements
- Support development of presentation slides/decks/documentation to senior stakeholders and Model Owners
- Play a key role in stakeholder management between AFCM and key stakeholders to determine modus operandi and obtain SME knowledge relevant to models to be implemented
Your skills and experience
- Relevant direct experience in Financial Crime Compliance, Risk Assessment or Quality Assurance in Financial Services, Banking or Regulatory environment
- Working knowledge of a major market AML Transaction Monitoring system, (Actimize or Oracle Mantas)
- Knowledge of a major market Big Data Solutions, Data lakes, Hadoop, Cloudera
- Proven track record of delivering quality output (technical documentation, presentations, communications) in a clear, structured, comprehensive way and a timely manner
- Proven track record of stakeholder management, particularly Information Technology/Model Standards/Governance functions
